AXIOM AS & ASP cushions use the rider’s bodyweight and physical characteristics to automatically adjust the fluid volume to create optimum loading.
Available in 2 models, Adjustable Skin (AS) and Adjustable Skin & Positioning (ASP).
Fitting and Adjustment Made Simple
The users' anatomic shape and mass are the only tools needed to ensure a precise and optimal fit.
The cushion is designed to react to the weight of the user to dictate the degree of immersion required.
As soon as load is equally distributed the adjustment is complete.
Optimized Pressure Distribution & Maximum Stability
The cushion allows the femurs, trochanters, and ischia to all be independently loaded. The fluid under the ischia is specifically engineered to reduce shear strain while The trochanteric bladders are filled with a stiffer version of Hydrolite for stability when moving and reaching.
Incredibly Light
Axiom's Hydrolite is incredibly light, eliminating the "weight penalty" of other fluid cushions.
Also, it's less sensitive to temperature, so the fluid performs consistently regardless of how hot or cold the climate.
Superior Microclimate
The cushion base features a dense layer of reticulated foam under a layer of spacer fabric to allow air to flow.
The foam base is closed cell and designed with pathways that allow moisture to flow through and away from the body, maintaining a cooler and drier skin interface.

Pre-Contoured Shape
Axiom cushions are pre-contoured to facilitate loading the trochanters, decrease ischial loading and improve lateral stability.
Anthropometrics
We cooperated with Georgia Tech to study actual pelvic dimensions and other human measurements. This was critical to designing the cushion's contours so they properly fit the broad range of users.
Surface Tension Reduction
The ischial bladders rests directly under the outer layer of the cover. By using the super 4-way stretch Lycra outer cover material, surface tension is significantly reduced, providing better immersion.

Paragon Mobility is committed to supporting positive outcomes for people who rely on complex wheelchairs and specialised assistive technology. While we do not supply products directly to end users, we work closely with our National Dealer Network and healthcare professionals to provide the product expertise, technical knowledge and ongoing support that contribute to effective assistive technology prescriptions.
Our role is to support the people and organisations responsible for assessing, prescribing, supplying and maintaining equipment. Through comprehensive product information, configuration guidance, technical assistance, education and troubleshooting support, we help our partners ensure that products are appropriately selected and configured to meet each end user’s individual functional needs, environment, lifestyle and goals.
Paragon Mobility also supports the prescription process by providing access to product knowledge, trial equipment and specialist advice, helping dealers and clinicians evaluate whether a proposed solution is appropriate before final prescription. This collaborative approach can reduce the risk of inappropriate equipment selection and improve the long-term efficacy of prescribed solutions.
Following supply, we remain available to our dealer partners with technical and product support throughout the equipment lifecycle.
