Large Tri-Lo Handcycle
The third size in the Tri-Lo range is designed
for larger children and adults of shorter stature.
This models has 20″ wheels for increased
comfort and greater speed.
The Large Tri-Lo is a responsive tricycle which is easy to steer and control.
A robust frame with allowance for growth ensures the rider can gain a good seating position on the large comfortably padded seat.
The tricycle has a 5 Speed gear which provides greater freedom for the rider. Braking is provided by a back pedal coaster brake gear system which means the rider's hands never have to leave the hand pedals when controlling the tricycle. Parking brakes are fitted to both rear wheels.
The convenience of using the Tri-Lo is a key criteria in its design, a large seat, removable armrests and a low step through frame allow easier transfers from a wheelchair or a seated position. The ability for the rider to transfer independently is a very important benefit of the Tri-Lo range.
The addition of quick release wheels and a frame folding facility which allows the Tri-Lo to be transported easily in a car is also a major benefit. Other accessories can be added such as pelvic guides, push handle, crutch holder and chest strap.
